I'm Ryan Nagata, an artist in Los Angeles. At one time, I wanted to be a director and went to film school (there's still evidence of that on this site). But I spent some time making models, props, and costumes for hire and eventually that became more lucrative than directing. One day I decided to make a very accurate replica of an Apollo spacesuit (something I've wanted since I was a kid). My efforts got the attention of many people, and now I make spacesuit replicas for private collectors, exhibits, and films. I've made spacesuit costumes for Adam Savage of Mythbusters and Tested.com. I've done work for actual Apollo astronauts. I made some costumes for First Man, the Neil Armstrong movie.

I still haven't finished that Apollo spacesuit for myself.
